Phew! Before Monday's blog about the new kindergarten, it had been a good long minute since our last post. Sorry for the sudden absence, folks!
If you have visited us here at High Hopes recently, you may already have an idea of what has kept us away from the blogosphere this month. If not, allow us to give you a sneak peek of the rooms that were our offices until last week…
As you can see, there are quite a few changes happening for us here at 301 High Hopes Court. You may recall from a previous post our plan to convert our administrative offices into feeding therapy spaces. Well, that’s what’s going on right now! Those spaces are being transformed before our very eyes, as we continue to keep things running all around it.
We are also converting the current staff breakroom...
The school year approaches, and it’s time to start thinking about kindergarten. We understand many questions can come to mind in the process of preparing your child, and yourself, for that first year in “big school.” The overarching question: With so many options available, where should we go? As of this year, High Hopes is officially tossing our name into that discussion. In this post, we will outline what our kindergarten will look like – the practical application and benefits of a truly inclusive model of education, the experience and knowledge provided by a highly qualified staff, the deep level of resources available to ensure each child’s complete success, and of course all the fun we’re going to have!
Construction has been underway for some time now, but there’s a lot going on that can’t be seen from the front of our current building – more construction taking place on the south side of the preschool, behind the clinic, and even underground!
If you’re not in the construction business (and we definitely aren’t!), it can be difficult to tell just how much is getting done. So we pulled together some information for you that can hopefully provide a little insight into just how far we’ve come since things really got rolling last October.
Construction is coming along, and we’re getting pretty excited! We have so many plans and ideas, dreams for how to use our new space. We’d like to share some of those dreams with you, so we can all be excited together as our expansion takes shape day by day! Some of you already know that the expansion at 303 High Hopes Court is a much-needed addition to our facility. We’ll be just about doubling our current square footage, and adding several new spaces to enhance our offerings and services. Take a few moments to picture with us some of the ways these new spaces may be used to better serve everyone who walks through the doors of High Hopes Development Center.
You may have noticed there’s a little something happening at our facility.
It’s kind of a big deal.
All right, it’s a really big deal. We’re effectively doubling the square footage of our current facility. And construction is underway!
The process of renovation and construction is going to require a bit of disruption from the daily routine, be it in the form of traffic patterns, the spaces we use, or simply in the way it sounds around here.
So we thought it might be nice to fill you in on some of what’s going on.
We’re growing at a steady pace.
It wasn’t that long ago that we did not have this amazing building that you bring your kiddos to every day. Before this building existed, we were located on Mallory Lane, in a converted warehouse.
