ARE THE DevelUPmental Edge CLASSES THERAPY?

The classes are not therapy, per se, rather opportunities for caregiver and child to explore the joy of learning and play together, in a small group, while implementing proven strategies and techniques used by trained professionals to heighten brain building skills. In the event a family would be interested in pursing individual therapy services, please speak with the instructor or contact High Hopes Developmental Center.

CAN WE BRING SIBLINGS ALONG TO CLASSES?

​

We really want to foster the relationship and attention between caregiver and child in a more individualized format. We understand that special circumstances can always arise. Feel free to contact us with any questions so we can best accommodate your needs.

WHAT IF WE ARE NOT ABLE TO ATTEND A CLASS DURING OUR RESERVED SESSION?

​

The DevelopMENTORS will work with you to schedule ONE make up class from a reserved session during a different session of classes. We will not be able to make up more than ONE class per reserved session unless other arrangements have been made with the class coordinator. We understand that things come up. Cancellations due to personal reasons must be received at least 24 hours before the start of your class to be made up. No shows and personal cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start of class are not eligible for makeup.

MY KIDDO ISN'T FEELING SO GOOD AND WE HAVE CLASS TODAY. WHAT SHOULD WE DO?

We follow the same sickness criteria of most area daycares. Please do not bring your child if they, or anyone in the family, has had a fever of 100 or greater, vomiting, or diarrhea within 24 hours of the class, pink eye, strep throat, or any other illness requiring antibiotics that they have not yet been taking more than 24 hours.

WE HAVE MORE THAN ONE CHILD WE WOULD LIKE TO ENROLL IN THE SAME SESSION. IS THERE A DISCOUNT AVAILABLE FOR ADDITIONAL CHILDREN?

I SEE THAT THE CLASSES ARE OFFERED IN 10 WEEK SESSIONS. DOES THAT MEAN THE SAME MATERIAL WILL BE USED FOR EACH SESSION?

NO! The content of each session is always different so the learning opportunities are constantly changing!

DO WE HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE BEGINNING OF A SESSION TO ATTEND?

​

Not at all! If a spot is available in the class you desire you can begin attending at any time. Monthly rates will be prorated to accommodate
