uP, uP, AND aT pLAY!
The DevelUPmental Edge is specialized play with a purpose. It provides services to young children and their caregivers and is dedicated to enhancing the development of a child. We do this by empowering and equipping families to enrich their child’s learning experiences while learning proven strategies and techniques in a small group setting. Our program is designed to be a resource to children who:
-
are at risk for experiencing developmental delays
-
did not qualify for therapy but would benefit from additional supports
-
are currently in individual therapy services but would also benefit from a small group setting
-
are transitioning out of regular/weekly therapy services but would still benefit from therapeutic support and resources.
Our desire is to see caregivers embracing the role as their child’s “expert” while partnering with a developmental expert. Each class is intentionally designed to establish a maximized lifestyle of learning incorporating a variety of avenues while following a hierarchy of developmental milestones.
All classes are led by licensed pediatric therapists who specialize in child development. Activities are ever-changing creating an ongoing, unique, and FUN experience for all participants. A driving principle behind every service provided by the DevelUPmental Edge is parent involvement, either directly or indirectly.

Hear from a parent
"The Bloomers class has been such a blessing. Our daughter looks forward to the class every week and enjoys every minute of it. Brandy is a phenomenal instructor who engages the kids the entire time with singing, dancing, reading, and games. It's also changed how we approach learning in our household. The class has kept our toddler entertained every week and has given us tools to better engage with our child."
