Did you know that there is a direct correlation between strong reading skills and academic success? Most likely. But did you know the strongest readers are those with the strongest listening and language skills – those that are established BEFORE formal schooling begins?

A class specifically designed for preschoolers, 3-5 years old!  30 minutes of structured play and brain building activities followed by 30 minutes of rompin' and stompin' free play! Free play will rotate weekly between gross/fine motor, sensory play, art, and pretend play. Each class will consist of a maximum of 8 children, their caregiver, and a pediatric specialized Speech-Language Pathologist. You will learn strategies to help your child enhance their thinking, reasoning, auditory, social, pre-literacy, listening comprehension, and expressive communication skills. The class will target developmental skills including:

• Speech sound/word/phrase expansion

• Following directions

• Listening comprehension

• Listening attention

• Listening and spoken vocabulary expansion

• Social language development
