Greg Freeze is a 25+ year resident of Franklin and Williamson County. Greg and his wife of 38 years, Susan, live in Franklin and have one grown son, who lives in Nashville along with his wife.
Professionally, Greg has led Human Resources teams working across a variety of industries including financial services, restaurant and retail organizations. Working with both public and private companies of varying sizes, he has managed multiple mergers and acquisitions from both sides and been instrumental in process improvement and employee development initiatives.
Greg served as the head of Human Resources for Franklin American Mortgage Company prior to its acquisition and Nashville based FirstBank. He is adept at directing HR strategy and execution that saw both companies through a period of significant challenge and growth. After his retirement from the corporate world in 2024, Greg is working as a Senior Consultant for Franklin based Work Institute, which focuses on evidenced based employee retention and data collection.
An enthusiastic volunteer, Greg has volunteered in support of many area non-profit organizations. He became involved with High Hopes Development Center over 10 years ago as an advisory board member. Greg has served on the board of directors since 2019 and was elected president in 2023. He is also a current board member for Franklin Tomorrow and was a longtime volunteer at the Franklin Theatre. He was a member of the Leadership Franklin class of 2023-2024.
