Neily Boyd

Neily Boyd has led organizational change in schools across the country for more than a decade. A Nashville native, Boyd began her career in education as a member of Teach For America’s inaugural Nashville class. She taught math in Metro Nashville Public Schools before moving to KIPP Nashville, where she held a variety of positions, including Director of STEM. Her leadership helped KIPP Nashville’s schools achieve top state rankings and recognition for academic excellence.

In 2019, Boyd founded Counting With Kids to support families and early childhood professionals in building foundational math skills for young children. The company now supports thousands of families worldwide and provides transformative work on instruction, curriculum, and organizational management in schools across the country. She has co-authored an early childhood math curriculum and is a public advocate for improving math instruction, having appeared in news publications, on podcasts and TV shows, and as a speaker at national seminars. Most recently, she led a series of math training sessions for parents with NYC Public Schools. Boyd holds a B.A. from Vanderbilt University and a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Lipscomb University. She lives in Franklin with her husband and two children.
