Katherine Stark brings more than 17 years of experience in healthcare administration. She currently serves as Associate Operating Officer for Vanderbilt Heart & Vascular Institute, where she oversees operations for 23 clinics across Middle Tennessee and Kentucky, in addition to inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular diagnostic imaging services.
Katherine earned her Master of Health Services Administration from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational and Corporate Communication from the University of Houston. She is a 2025 graduate of Leadership Brentwood and a 2023 graduate of Leadership Middle Tennessee.
Katherine’s connection to High Hopes began when her daughter started therapy at just five weeks old. Inspired by the organization’s impact, she became actively involved – helping launch the Family Teacher Organization (FTO) in 2019 and serving at its President during her daughter’s early years in the preschool program. She joined the Board of Directors in 2023 and has since co-chaired Runway of Hope for three consecutive years alongside her daughter’s former therapist.
Katherine has been recognized as a Houston Business Journal Health Care Heroes Administrator and is a two-time recipient of the Department of Health and Human Services’ Organ Donation Medal of Honor for national leadership. She resides in Brentwood with her husband and their three children.
